At a recent World Curling event, a team asked me to lead a mid-competition debrief when they hit a wall. What emerged was an awareness of overly high expectations and an underestimation of what this level of competition requires. What followed \u2014 observed independently by both myself and the team coach \u2014 was drive and desire in a healthy way: wanting to win, but without presumption. Doing the best they could with the tools they had.<\/p>\n
